Description

Fun Facts:

Orange Zest will remind you of a fresh picked citrus fruit here in sunny Florida. It also might remind you of great enthusiasm and energy. Either way, this fragrant strain (Sativa dominant) is bursting with terpenes and ready to please your Cannabis needs. The original breeders of this strain have remained anonymous, but based on stain analysis the lineage is determined to be a cross between Tangerine Dream and a Citrus Haze strain. This plant takes about 8-10 weeks to flower and produces many long colas with leaves that turn a reddish-orange at the end of flowering.

Cannabinoid Highlights:

HHC: 18.77%

CBD: 10.13%

THC: .024%

Look: Dense buds with a clean trim. There are an above average amount of orange and reddish orange hairs (pistils) on each bud.

Smell: As you can image, a strong citrus odor is dominant. There is a pleasant and unique combination of orange citrus mixed with a gassy musk. This is the type of nose that keeps you coming back for additional smells, breathing deeper and deeper each time. A fresh, clean smell that is strong but not overpowering.

The following terpenes are present:

  • Limonene – zesty citrus fragrance, primarily in lemon, but also in orange, lime, and grapefruit
  • Pinene –  very refreshing and redolent of a pine forest
  • Myrcene – earthy, fruity, musky
  • Terpinolene – floral, fresh, herbaceous, slightly piney

Taste: True to it’s name, you guessed it! Strong citrusy notes initially and present throughout. This strain is perfect if you like fruity, tropical flavors. We did pick up some subtle pine notes on the back of the pallet, which compliment the citrus, but keep it front and center. This strain definitely delivers with its taste and it is has a medium-high flavor level.
